Dr. Christopher Heck, Cardio Thoracic Surgeon Dr. Christopher Heck was born in La Crosse Wisconsin and raised in Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota and Mayo Medical School. He received his surgical training at the University of California, San Francisco and Stanford University.
Dr. Heck has been performing heart surgery for the past twenty years. As a heart surgeon he performs operations which include coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement and reconstruction of the aorta. His special interests include less invasive approaches to cardiac surgical operations and techniques to minimize postoperative pain.
